How to record + upload your voice note to Google Drive (iPhone)

1) Record your sound as a voice note
- Open the Voice Memos app on your iPhone.
- Tap the red record button.
- Record your sound (try to keep the phone fairly still and close to the sound source).
- Tap stop when finished.
- Tap the recording name (e.g. New Recording) to rename it to something useful.
2) Save the voice note to Files
This step is important so the file can be uploaded easily.
- In Voice Memos, tap the recording you want to upload.
- Tap the share icon (square with an arrow pointing up).
- Select Save to Files.
- Choose a location such as On My iPhone → Downloads (or another folder you’ll remember).
- Tap Save.
3) Upload the voice note to Google Drive
- Open the Google Drive folder link on your iPhone (Safari works best):
- Tap the + (Add) button.
- Select Upload.
- Choose Browse.
- Navigate to where you saved the voice note (e.g. Downloads).
- Select the voice note(s).
